The platforms provided by Glifix are based on an architecture of open source modules that make up a highly reliable system.

A high-reliability system is designed to resist failures of individual components while continuing to operate without interruption.

The system works similarly to the reserve parachute in skydiving. It is rare to use, but there is no skydiver who does not carry it.
